Cher Nutrition is comprised of a skilled team of registered dietitians with a variety
of specialties to accommodate the needs of individual patients and corporations.
Ariele Gordon,
registered dietitian (RD) and licensed social worker (LMSW), provides a unique blend
of nutritional knowledge with motivational and supportive counseling.
Ariele received her Masters in Social Work at New York University, and completed
her social work internships at St. Barnabas' outpatient clinic and PS 64 in Manhattan.
Upon graduation, she worked at a Harlem elementary school counseling students, families
and teachers, and developed an after-school program teaching students how to use
local, available foods to create nutritious meals.
She is receiving her Master’s of Science in Clinical Nutrition at New York University,
and completed her dietetic internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
She is actively involved in her local and state dietetic associations, recently
serving as New York State Dietetic Association's student representative. Additionally,
she is a member of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Weight Management dietetic practice
groups.
A native of Manhattan and Miami, her savvy of restaurants and importance of living
life to the fullest while remaining true to your health goals is a hallmark to her
nutritional approach.
Jamie Schottenfeld is a Master’s student studying clinical nutrition at New York University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and hopes to combine her love for science and nutrition as a future Registered Dietitian. Jamie plans to one day open her own private practice and share her passion for food and nutrition with others, helping individuals with weight management and disease prevention. You can find Jamie, a true foodie, scoping out the latest restaurants in New York City, looking for healthy yet delicious dishes to enjoy with friends and family. She believes it’s easy to eat your favorite foods in moderation, while still eating nutrient-dense, whole foods for optimal health.
